Interface Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Work with customers to catalog hospital-system interface requirements
- Implement interfaces via Mirth and other interface Engines, PL/SQL and Java Script
- Assist QA manager with function tests
- Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot and maintain existing application modules
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 2+ years of interface design and development
- 2+ years experience with hospital systems such as ADT, Lab/Radiology, etc.
- 2+ years experience with SQL, scripting languages such as JavaScript, PERL, etc.
- 2+ years experience with interface engines such as Cloverleaf, Mirth, etc.
- 2+ years experience with HL7
- Comfortable with Unix and Window operating systems
- Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL and XML are all strong pluses

- Proven communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of the engineering team
- Manage multiple concurrent activities, all with fluctuating deadlines, by working with other departments, both internal and external
- Must be able to adapt to a high-pressure environment, effectively communicate with wide variety of people, and adapt to rapidly changing environment
- Must be able to quickly identify and resolve issues and concepts
- Must be able to make decisions immediately and discuss various perspectives and approaches rapidly
